About me: ERIC, 33. I WAS GONNA' GO TO LAKE TAHOE WITH SOME FRIENDS IN DECEMBER FOR A SKI TRIP. HOWEVER, I'VE DECIDED NOT TO DO ANY SKIING. I'VE ONLY DONE IT TWICE IN THE PAST, AND WHEN YOU SKI, YOU'RE PLAYIN' RUSSIAN ROULETTE WITH YOUR JOINTS AND BONES. I LIKE SKIING OKAY, BUT I LIKE IRISH DANCING A WHOOOOLE LOT MORE.

What Irish things do I play, dance, say, sing or other:: I DO SOFT SHOE AND HARD SHOE, AND SET AND CEILI DANCING. USUALLY, I'M PARTIAL TO JIGGS. I'M ALWAYS LOOKIN' FOR CHANCES AND EXCUSES, EVEN IN SET AND CEILI, TO PUT CONSIDERABLE DISTANCE BETWEEN MYSELF AND THE FLOOR AND TO COVER CONSIDERABLE DISTANCES ACROSS THE FLOOR. MY INSTRUCTOR AND DIRECTOR, CATHERINE, HAS THREATENED TO TIE BRICKS TO MY FEET.

Favorite Music: CELTIC, BLUEGRASS, LATIN, AND KLESMER.

Dancing School / Group: THE JACKSON IRISH DANCERS

Dancing Level: IT DEPENDS ON THE DANCE; INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED.

How many years have you been Irish dancing?: MAYBE 5. THIS IS MY 3RD YEAR PERFORMING.

Favourite Irish dance Show: "DANCING ON DANGEROUS GROUND"
COLIN AND JEANNE ROCK!

I love this about Irish Dancing:: GETTIN IN FRONT OF AN AUDIENCE OF 300 & FEELIN RIGHT @ HOME.

KILLER FEIS WIGS

I'M SCARED OF THOSE FEIS WIGS THE GIRLS WEAR. I THINK THEY'RE SYMBIANT PARASITES FROM OUTERSPACE THAT ROOT INTO THE BRAIN, MAKING THE HOST EVIL AND UNDER THEIR CONTROL. I FEAR THEY HOPE TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD AND ENSLAVE US ALL. I KNOW A GIRL IN MY DANCE GROUP WHO, EVERY TIME SHE PUTS HER'S ON, SHE INCREASES IN STRENGTH AND GETS MEAN AND PUSHES ME AROUND.
