Anton, I'm looking for instructions for a dance I haven't been able to find anyplace. It's called "The Butcher's March." Some people (mistakenly) think it's the same as "The Lilting Banshee" but it's not. There was brief mention of this dance in J.G. O KEEFFE & art o brien 1934, printed by gill dublin. Ironically there was no instructions for the dance though. If you know, know somebody that might know or can refer me to a place of reference that would be greatly appreciated.

hallo, Anton! sorry for delay in wrighting back. and thank you very much for visiting my page :)

yes, I like Ceili... you know, I think it's the way how we (who are far-far away from this culture) can be part of this great culture.

on the competitions I dance with my friend. We compose all the steps, we create our dress-hair style - and it's such a Fun and Pleasure! ))))

Hello, I understand how you feel about the dresses and wigs, but I have mixed feelings for them. Sometimes it's fun to get dressed up. Wigs are sooo much easier than curling hair, it took over 100 curlers to make my hair look like a wig. My mom made all of my solo dresses, so the costs were cut drastically. I love ceili dancing, but I also love getting to show off once in a while. Thanks for your concern, I'm glad someone isn't afraid to speak their mind. Best of luck to you!

Hi Anton!
Just saw you to be online: Have a look on my DIDDLY-account about Anniversary of J.G. O'Keeffe
At least I found the button to accept a friendship (I think, my PC at work doesn't show this button)
Regards, Michael
