Hi Melanie, I think your cake is very much like a 'cake' and you are very clever to think of doing it...........Bethany liked it too and says thank you...........she had a lovely birthday, and had some lovely presents..........she has been to dancing class tonight, and is now fast sleep, tucked up in her bed.......Have you had a nice day today?.....How do you spend your days while you are on holiday from school, apart from swimming in your pool................love NA xx

Hi Melanie, Thank you for your birthday greetings and 'cake' for Bethany......I showed it to her......it was very thoughtful of you....She had a lovely day and she came 2nd in the U6 Championship (there were 14 dancers)............in the Open grade dances she had 3 firsts and 2 seconds, but there were not very many dancers in this age group at Open level unfortunately........I hope you have had a lovely day too...love NA xx

Hello Melanie, How are you, I hope you are ok..........Bethany has been to her three dancing lessons this week as usual, but I have not been to any of them as I have not been too well, but better now...........she is looking forward to the MOS feis on sunday, also it will be her 6th birthday the same day........we think she will be too excited about it being her birthday to dance her best so we are not expecting her to win, just to have a great day........we also think it will be a very big feis, with dancers coming from a long way to take part, so the standard will be very high......she is also to dance on saturday at a Fete in a park, if it is not raining.............we do not know when she will be able to have her birthday presents as we have to leave home before six in the morning on sunday.........there are a group of us who are going to go out to lunch together after the feis, on our way home, and we have a birthday cake to take for her..........she loves blowing out the candles..........do you do that in Austria?..........When is your birthday?...............Have a good weekend, are you doing anything nice? Love NA xx

Good Morning Melanie, It is quite early here at the start of a new day and as it has been for the last few days, it is raining........we have been having lots of heavy rain showers with sunshine in between.....and fairly warm.........not very nice weather for summer........You are lucky to have your own swimming pool, do many houses in Vienna have their own?........not many houses in Swindon, or England, have their own........Have a nice day,....love NA xx

Hi Melanie, I hope you are having a nice day.....I do not know what the time difference is between yur country and mine......I admire you if you only have three feises a year for keeping up with the dancing and the practice....I can imagine how excited you must get when it gets very close to feis time, October sounds a long while to wait to me.....however, Bethany only has two more before October as there are never any during August unfortunately....but it does give her a good chance to learn any changes to her steps that her teacher may want to make........ Is it nice weather in Vienna at the moment?.....Love NA xx

Hi again, I do not play a musical instrument but if I did I would like first of all to play the drums (I have a bodhran)....lol.... then to play the piano. Bethany's daddy plays the cornet in a local brass band, her mummy sort of plays the guitar and piano, and if she were to practice more she could play a lot better.....lol.......I think your english is very good....Are there many Irish Dancing schools in Vienna?....When is your next feis?....love NA xx

Hi Melanie, I am well thank you - how are you?.......Bethany is also well, she is as school at the moment as her school summer holiday does not start until the 24th.........are you on school holiday now?......Bethany goes do ID class on mondays (2 hours), wednesdays (has a 1 hour private lesson) and thursdays (2 hours), so that is what she will be doing this evening......how often do you go to class?.....keep a watch on 'my page' for a photo of the next one of Bethany's dolls to get a new 'solo' dress, her mummy is making it now......what do you like to do other than ID?.....love NA xx

Hi Melanie, I have to point out that unfortunately I do not dance and I think I have left it a little too late to start now........however, I have lots of pleasure watching Bethany, my grandaughter who is now nearly 6 dance, and I have been to almost every lesson she has had, and feis she has danced in and display/party/etc she has danced at so it kind of feels like I do dance (but I don't have to practice....lol....). Bethany has been dancing for almost 18 months now, and has done very well.......as you say in your profile, ID is a lot of fun, and we have all made lots of new friends......keep enjoying your dancing, love NA xx
