- Translator, mother, used-to-be dancer (now starting it all over, but with different goals - wanna continue my grade exams!). I was a manager of Irish Dance group from Poznan for 2 years. I like cats and have one - our puss's name is Ozzie. My husband's hobby is reconstruction of Medieval knighthood. I wonder what weird thing our son will do..? ;)

- I sing everything that I know the lyrics of;) If I don't know the lyrics, I hum. Or tap the rythm. Or just jump up&down in a pub:)
I'm trying to play the guitar, but let it be my private activity for some time;)
I dance less than I would love to... Need to practise on my own, because work prevents my going to TNN Poland trainings:((

I finally found a teacher in Liverpool!
I was unhappy without Irish dancing here for a long time (nobody wanted to take in a 28-year-old student), but it's changed now! Thanks to Karen Mountain, I attended a class in George Ferguson's dance school yesterday. My first impression was "how different it is from TNN classes" ;) , but I think that I'll adapt to the new style soon.

my work might take me to Marseilles for more or less two weeks in May (hopefully finishing just in time for me to attend the workshop in Rognac - I'm not 100% sure yet if I will attend it, but being already in the area would definitely help!;)). i don't know yet if I'm going to vienna. but otherwise my next feis will be great britains. ---so excited--- and I'll have my new dress by then aswell.
Salzburg summercamp is a good workshop for technique but you don't really learn steps. there are some adults but more like people my age, I think.
after last summercamp i really really improved---thats cause the teachers are really strickt.

I study German and Spanish and my mothertongue is Dutch. I had my last exam on friday so I can finally enjoy the summer holidays. Well, I'll get my results this friday, so there's still some anxiety :)
Do you've dance classes during the summer too? Mine will start again in september but I'm attending a workshop and I'm going to the Salzburg summer camp, whoohoo!! Have fun dancing!

yeah, my pictures are from a feis in Holland last february and of the evening before in our youth hostel. We had great fun there. I really like you pics from the worlds! thanks for sharing :) Did you know anyone competing there? I see you're a translator, cool! I'm studying to be one, but I'm only in my first year, still struggling :)

I'm originally from the Pool. But I now live in Catalonia. I have been known to play in Kennedy's Bar in Tarragona occasionally though. ;-)
Co do moich włosów to peruka jest po porstu brązowa, a moim włosom daleko jest do bycia blondynką! Nie są farbowane :)
