About me: I started dancing when I was 17. So quite late. Anyway, I loved it from the start and by now, teach my own little group.
As long as I can remember, I was always surrounded by music and art. I remember family-trips through france, when me and my sister and brother were sitting in the back of the car and singing the whole Mozart-operette " Die Entführung aus dem Serail", while listening to a tape. Unbelievable, but I can still recall most parts of this operette...
With six, I started playing the piano, which I quit after 4 years and with 11, I changed to violin, that I still like to play. Love Brahms and Bach!
With 17 I fell for Irish dancing. Like an infect - can´t stop this!

I love this about Irish Dancing:: When I dance, I feel like I vanish and there´s just the music - and a lot of "electricity" (sounds pretty silly, but I don´t know a better way to describe it).

Hahaha dont' worry ! Look at me, just having classes once every 2, 3 months xDDD when I go to class the first hour I'm like so stiff and can't move without feelin pains in my muscles !

Yup I live in Barcelona, well in a town near it (it's 20 min by train so it's nothing, I go more often to the city centre than to my town centre xD)
I have to fly to get classes which is quite expensive... (whatever for irish dance anyway!)
Yup I don't have myself in video either. I just record myself with the steps that I make but for other people's steps (like school ones) i record other people and if I can, the teacher ;-P
going to the camp next year??

But ya I do like some of the classical (I just won't admit it when I do lol) In school we were playing this song called Sanata Vivant and I just adored it but I am moving so I have no idea what they will make me play lol. umm new steps well...just ve a look on youtube and stuff...maybe u ll find some nice movements and then u can create something! well u could send me a video, I d love 2 see your dancing :D

Hahaha but I'm sure that you had a reason for it ;-)

Well the reel that I danced at the camp was my own creation (now I've done a new reel) and I work a lot on them.

Now that I'm in Tir na nOg I have their primary steps and I work them a lot at home because I recorded more than 2 videos of each dance!

Yup I don't have anyone here, so I have to go to Munich or so to take classes! But I can't go as much as I'd like to.. but anyway it's better than nothing!

Hahaha good reflection! But believe me, I'd prefer being stressed or whatever instead of don't have any help in my dancing. I was more stressed when I was completly alone!!!
