At 6:01pm on May 13th, 2008, Kathleen said…: Thank you. That costume is actually 30 years old. It was a copy of a costume that scottish dancers wear in their "Irish Washerwoman jig" dance. My dancing teacher copied that costume for shows and also to poke fun at the Scottish dancers...because we would dance the real irish jig.
