That's awesome you did so well at Worlds! I've never done anything international, and even if I were qualified, I'm way too poor to go. Boo =(
I do go to a lot of different places for a feis, but usually between Canada and Pittsburgh. New England is a much further drive.
Is Pender-Keady in New England? I can't remember. I generally stay out of that area. I went to a few this summer and they weren't much fun for me... I think it's a pretty political area. I'll look for your results though. =)
You're so lucky you're going to Worlds! Something I've always wanted to do, hehe. My teacher's pushing me to get out of Prelims so I can go to Nationals this year, but I really just don't know.
You're in senior ladies, right? I think you were in my competition at the Oireachtas. It does stay the same for Nationals right? I think they only switched it to SJ/TJ this year, but they're not going to switch it back, are they? I haven't really heard anything yet, but I'm assuming it's staying SJ/TJ for a few years.
The Film program at RIT is really intensive, yeah.... it's kind of like a great mind blast. But it's also a lot of fun, and the projects really make you feel accomplished.
Are you doing IT at Strong? They have a really great IT program at RIT, from what I hear.
What school did you start with when you were little? I only started when I was 14 and I started with Burke, which I loved. Young is a lot more low-key and relaxed, but our teachers let us personalize our steps to our own style, which is really nice. That was a huge no-no at Burke.
A friend of mine and I are thinking of adventuring up to Canada in February for Mary Woodgate, and I'd love to do the West Virginia feis since it's close to my family. I was 1 point away from my 3rd first place at my last feis, so I'm pretty determined to go to as many as possible. How about you?
I'm studying film and animation. It's a lot of fun, but this quarter is going to make dancing rough. Hopefully I can keep going at least twice a week.
Have you always lived in the area?
Yay for RIT! What did you study? I am in my first year of grad school there!
I live in Henrietta (on Winton). I go to the Young School, since it's nice and local, and not very big, which is kind of nice in the end. I only just started again this year after a 5 year break. =)
Do you go to school in the area?
thankss! noo not this year since i ddid them last year and i also just did the gb's. and yes worlds is sooo close we'dd have to concentrate on that!
