About me: I am a sophomore at George Mason University in VA studying vocal music education. I have been dancing less than a year, and love it to death.

What Irish things do I play, dance, say, sing or other:: I generally sing as much Irish music as I can get ahold of, but that's what I get for being a vocal major...

Favourite Irish dance Show: Ah! That's so hard to decide. I am in love with both Riverdance as well as Lord of the Dance...

We don't really have the same level here so when you won/place your dance in novice, you'r in prizewinner or ???
we have 4 levels : beginners, primary, intermediate and open and you have to be between first and third (depends on the number of people dancing) to go to the next category but you can dance primary without winning beginners but it's an exception. Is it nearly the same for you but with other names for the levels ??

yeah, the camp was really interersting but tiring for legs !! but my feets are more open now and i improved my jumps so it's a good thing !! not yet redy for the feis in november because i haven't been doing all my dances for a long time but it must be ok with a little work !! i have to work on my primary hornpipe, i nearly invent all the dance last time :s
there's already photos of my dress, its the blue one i had in Salzburg. I should have had another one less simple but it really cost lots of money and as i moved and had to buy lots of things for my new flat... for a next time !!!
and you, ready for the 18th october ?? it'll come soon!!! i hope you'll have good result !!!

I've been to the camp and it was so great !! one of our teachers was an 18 yo boy that as won the us championship this year, Jan Gaca. Do you know him ??? he's really impressive in his jump ! I'm gonna have a school dress, so i'm really excited !! but it's a bit short for me and not really practise when you'd like to breeze when dancing but it doesn't really matter as it looks quite better than or novice thing... !!!
I can't wait to be in november to do my next feis !!!

nearly the time for the camp, lots of dancing !! 26 hours in five days !! :s i hope i'll be ok with my legs as it's really a lot but i'm so happy doing it !! it begins the 11th of august !!!
are you on holidays now ?? i've been going to south of france !! really sunny and hot !! now i'm going to move from Quimper to Nantes so i have a lot of work packing everything i have !!

congratulation !!! that's cool !! good for your slip jig !! how many were you ??? i'm not good at dancing slip jig, i find the rythym less easy than in reel or light jig... we don't have two level in beginner, just beg and primary after... do you have two beginner level then primary ?
