About me: I am a mom of three - two daughters 24 and 10, and a son 6. I love music; anything to do with my Irish/Scotish/Celtic roots.

I co-run several fan sites on myspace (all having to do with the High Kings) as well as the House of Holden forum with me mate, Caz. We would love to have you join us.

All of the 'Kings' are on myspace and they each have a fan page as well. The sites are in the Top Friends listing on 'Fans of the High Kings' (link above). This is an incredibly talented group of men...true 'Kings' on stage, but down to earth, fun loving, humorous bunch. They are touring the USA right now and I hope all of you get the chance to see them in action.

I will be on the FRONT ROW CENTER STAGE for the Houston Show on Oct 1st and will be in the audiece for the Dallas show on Oct 2nd.

What Irish things do I play, dance, say, sing or other:: I love all things Irish. It's been YEARS since I played guitar, but have finally started picking it up again. I don't dance - 2 left feet ;0)

I try not to sing where others can hear me (although Caz and I are doing more singing these days - haha)

How many years have you been playing/singing?: I've been singing most of my life (in church and school choirs) and played guitar for nearly 3 years before I stopped. Just recently started TRYING to play again.

Favorite Music: The High Kings (Darren Holden; Martin Furey; Brian Dunphy; and Finbarr Clancy); Celtic Woman; Eamon O'Maonaigh; Finbar Furey; Alan Jackson; Tim McGraw......

Celtic; Folk; Country; Some Rock; Some Pop....I reckon you could say I just LOVE music.

Dancing Level: 2 left feet - don't think there is a level for this....lol!

Favourite Irish dance Show: Riverdance

I love this about Irish Tradition:: The music; family; welcoming nature of the people!

Finally! The High Kings in Dallas!! Folk-N-Roll!!!!

To start with, I NEVER dreamed anything could surpass my Houston experience! I am here to say I was completely wrong!!! There are three phrases that will FOREVER be linked in my mind and heart with the High Kings and the "King's Court" - "Kick-Ass" and "YEEEHAAAWW" (thank you Brian for the later!!). The High Kings Show in Houston Texas

Is it possible for any High Kings show to be put into words? What about your FIRST High Kings show??? It has been four days since the Houston show. I am still struggling – words escape me!! The High Kings Meet & Greet in Houston Texas

Shannon and I had the pleasure of meeting these wonderful men – no 'Kings'. We were part of the PBS Meet & Greet in Houston, TX. You could feel the excitement building as we waited for Darren, Brian, Martin, and Finbarr to enter the room; the buzz of the crowd grew with each passing moment. FINALLY...there they were!!!
