...if upon hearing any piece of music in 4/4 time [no matter what - rock, metal, disco...] you start beating out/jumping out your new reel step :) or composing your own Irish choreo!

^^ great one, I´m totally guilty of that one!!! yesssss, dancing reels to metal rocks! :D

...you have the rare gift of still being sane after 12 hours of accordion music!

You tend to forget what number comes after eight.

Your chats with friends tend to sound like "and then there's a da-da-da-duuum or da-da-dum-dum?"

...you can't stop moving your legs under the table during boring school lessons or working conferences.
(and I totally agree with the sock glue/accordion music and every other 4/4 music, I really like those :-) )

... when your hands "dancing" instead of you feets !!!

people at your work/school begin to comment oddly on your most comfortable standing position (your arms glued to your sides, your sholders back, and your feet turn out) and you didn't even notice you were doing it!

(ive gotten a few "why are you standing like that?" before)

... you mix English and your native language in the weirdest ways b/c there are things that just don´t translate well.

definitely! it's so much easier to talk to dancers about dancing using the 'international; terms :)

....when you don't remember how to skip 'normal'
....when you find yourself walking the stairs tiptoed and arms glued to your sides.
....when you start doing random moves with your feet, when waiting for the bus/train/metro (an exellent way to stay warm BTW)

I tend to do toe heel on each step lol

....when you pick your kids up from school and totally take advantage of the empty hallway to practice leaps...lol
