Michael Flatley's
Lord of the Dance has just
returned to Las Vegas for a limited run. This special performance and intimate show (the theater only holds around 425 seats) is running now through August 16th with the hope of an extended run, of course.
The Vegas show isn't the only thing
Flatley has going on these days. He has been
working diligently to open an Irish themed casino. The plan is at a standstill now because of the recession (I'm sorry to mention it!); however, it's definitely an option for the future as Flatley has most of the ground work completed already. I can't even imagine how
over the top his Irish themed casino will be. Since his project is almost a reality, we will all see soon enough.
In the meantime while Flatley waits to get his casino up and running, he
plans to dance again in a Lord of the Dance engagement in Taiwan! Robin Leach (a la Life Styles of the Rich and Famous) of
Lasvegas.com quotes Flately as saying, "We have been booked now for a long engagement in Taiwan, and
I will get my feet of flames back into action for the first concerts in July ... I am excited about being onstage again..."
How many of you wish you could see his performance?
