Dance Practice (Inspired by an Irish Dance class for kids)
Pony tails, football shirts,
Candy colored shorts and tees,
four-four time, small-sized feet,
Parquet vibrates to the beat

Hop two-three, hop two-three
Muscles trim, cheeks flushed pink
Hop two-three, hop two-three
Lift those legs, kick those feet

Hearts beat fast, spirits sing
children dance in full swing
Parents sit, tap their feet
watch their kids reel and jig

Hop two-three, hop two-three
Back and forth, to the side
Hop two-three, hop two-three
Beads of sweat, grins of pride.

What Irish things do I play, dance, say, sing or other:

I'd like to play the flute, but... dancing is the only "irish thing" I can do (a bit)

Favorite Music

there is so much, I don't think anything actually qualifies as favorite: Metallica, Mozart, Bowie, Fish, but there is also fine jazz or gothic music, or movie-soundtracks! And irish music ... of course.
