I am a ...: Teacher, Dancer

About me: Single mum, studying to be a highschool english teacher, I'm a tutor for all sorts of people in English and I also teach some 12-year olds.love to read, write, socialize.
I also started learning for my teacher's at CRN. I started my own danceschool in April 2009

What Irish things do I play, dance, say, sing or other:: I do Irish Dance, giving it a try at the bódhran, play the piano and can't sing :P

How many years have you been playing/singing?: Been dancing for over 20 years in various different forms

Favorite Music: whatever sounds good

Dancing Level: intermediate

How many years have you been Irish dancing?: since I was 16 (but been dancing since I was 3)

Favourite Irish Dance Show: Think I'll go for Dancing on Dangerous Grounds. too bad I never got to see it live cause on dvd it looked absolutely amazing!!!

I love this about Irish Dancing:: all

well it's been a while since I've been here.

As I wrote in my previous post I'm not dancing at the moment.
Since the last post I made here I had a mri-scan and it turned out that besides the cyst there was also another heap of excessive stuff (fortunately my lovely surgeon wasn't sure what that was).
The surgeon decided to inject some stuff with 5 inch needles right at the point where the bone of my toe is attached to the rest of my foot and I also had to take medication. I've been very very il… Continue

No dancing for me :S

I've been dancing since I was a 3 year old (so that's about 21 years now) doing all sorts of dance but the last couple of years mainly Irish dance.

Due to an injury I got from performing at a festival nearly 2 years ago I'm currently not dancing. As I first thought it was a minor injury I've kept dancing for 1,5 years (whenever the pain alloud me to) after getting the injury. met mij gaat alles prima, ik heb net een week vakantie. Volgende week ga ik een weekje met vriendinnen naar Vlieland en daarna ga ik nog naar Engeland voor 3 weken :D k heb er echt zin in..
Met dansen gaat het ook goed.. volgend jaar weer les in Utrecht en misschien ga ik ook op de zaterdagen naar den Haag, want er komen ook weer zaterdaglessen. Ik kan helaas niet naar het summercamp.. want dan zou ik alleen de eerste 2 dagen kunnen, en dat vind ik niet zo handig..

I had been at the scotland festival on the saturday last year. That was the day we preformed there (it had been only one day dancing preformances) . Hope we will do scotland festival again this year. It´s always such a big fun.
I had been competing in Wassenaar in october and february. Before that I had not been competing for a year or so.
