What Irish things do I play, dance, say, sing or other:: I've Been Playing Irish Music For 9 Years.I Play The Fiddle,Piano,Whistle And Banjo.Im Going To Start Either The Concertina O The Wooden Flute Soon..I'm Also An Irish Dancer,I Sean-Nós Sing The Odd Time,At Weddings,Funerals And Stuff,And Have Been Speaking Gaeilge Since I Was 4.

Music/Singing School/Group: Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann.Majella Shannen (Fiddle), Mary Custy (Whistle), Self-Taught (Banjo), Maoin Cheoil an Chláir (Piano), & The Burren U15 Céili Group.

Well..we didnt get placed :( Not to sound too cocky or anything but when I look back on the tape I just get more and more surprised each time..we really sounded wonderfull..even to get 3rd or to a mention would have made my summer.Saying that though I know its an achievment to get out of Clare,and then out of Munster..etc., but my group are members of Corofin Comhaltas in Clare..and when the judicator called 1st place,he announced Corofin!We all went mad..but then one of the men came down to… Continue

Well..had the Munsters yesterday..First Place! [= Out of fifteen groups from the 6 counties in Munster. Oh my God we were so shocked! We were supposed to play at 5.45..but didnt get on stage til' 9.15 :( We were 10th on and after we played we sat down and watched the remaining 5 groups..and boy were they good, they really scared us.We all thought that it was over because the talent from Cork and Limerick espeically was amazing! My Group..(The Burren)..Came First In Thaa County =]..Thanks To Our Leader,Garry Shannen.
Woo =P Goin' To Roscrea To Thaa Munster Finals Now On The 18th Of July..
It'll Be Very Hard To Get Out Of Thaa Province Because There Are Three Groups From The 6 Counties..So Thats 18 Groups And Only 2 Get Through To The All-Ireland =S But Fingers Crossed =]
Congrats To Inis Óg And Crusheen Who Came 2nd And 3rd And Are Also Goin' To The Munsters..

♫ SCT Exam (Fiddle) ♫

Well..had the fiddle exam today =S
Senior cycle 1..so only three more =]

Twasnt that hard..2 connected reels,2 connected-jigs,2 connected slip-jigs,a slow air,and either a hornpipe,polka,hopjig,slide,barndance,and march.Then had to do a project on something to do with irish trad,so I picked the Willie Clancy Week =]

I'll let ye know how I get on =]
