Hi Colleen,
It's great that you have gotten back into dancing again. Was it hard for you to jump back into it or were you able to pick up where you left off? Do you have many adult dancers in your school? I started as an adult, but have wished many times that I had started as a kid. I am amazed at what some of the kids can do. Being at the prizewinner level it's too bad that adults can't go beyond the prizewinner level. Have a happy and healthy new year. John

About me
I am 29 years old, living in PA (outside Philadelphia). I originally started Irish dance as a child, probably about 4 years old when my grandparents were teaching ceili dancing...and I loved it. Unfortunately, school and life got in the way for about 6 years, but I'm back to dancing as of 3 years ago and still find it one of the best things to pass the time, outside working, of course.
What Irish things do I play, dance, say, sing or other:
I dance, both step and ceili and would love to find time to start learning the sets as well. I also play piano and classical violin, although I would love to change that to fiddle in the next few years as well.
Dancing School / Group
Crossroads Irish Dancers
Dancing Level
Adult Prizewinner
How many years have you been Irish dancing?
cumulative - about 25
Favourite Irish Dance Show
Riverdance, although Lord of the Dance is a close second.
