First Feis

My first feis was recently so I still remember somethings:
-Never never look at the floor/your feet while dancing!
-Have a nice and elegant posture
-SMILEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
-Have fun and don't care about getting placed or not
-Cross, point, turn out and be high on your toes (normal stuff)
-If you're dancing in the morning wake up about 2h or 3h before depeding on the time you spend for breakfast, make up, warm up, get on the dress and shoes...
-Get a little drink after each dance if you have time
-Warm up properly

And I think that's all!

i need help i dnt kno wat to do im kinda a bit nerves and im affraid if i mess up!

Some tips:
-You'll learn 90% of what you'll ever learn about competition in the Grades at your first feis!
-Everyone has had a 1st feis, so they will all be willing to help out
-A little bit of confidence goes a long, long way
-Make sure you go through the "feis checklist," (which will vary in length, mine started short, got long, got very long, and now is very short!)
-Go through your steps ahead of time to the music being played on the stage you'll be dancing on to familiarize yourself with the music being played
-If you can, show a teacher or someone else from your school your steps to make sure everything is as best as it can be
-Bring LOADS of water! If you're thirsty, you already haven't been drinking enough
-If you're wearing socks, make sure you re-glue them before you dance
-Make sure your competitor number is secure and won't fall off/out
-Double knot the shoes
-You might be nervous, that's ok! Use the energy to dance your best. I've been performing for years and I still get nervous!
-Smile, walk on confidently. Don't worry, you know what you're doing.
-Don't forget to have tons and tons of fun! You've earned your right to be there because you've done very well and it can only get better from here :)
