does anyone know who Michael Vignoles, and/or Cara Butler/Kevin Burke/Grey Larson/Ged Foley/John Carty/jim Keenan/Raghn Crow/Dan Stacey

These people are coming to my city in Ohio for the 2nd biggest Irish festival in the USA, so i was just wondering if anyone knew them, ive heard of a few.

Cara Butler-dancer/singer- as toured with Ashley MacIsaac and the Chieftains showcasing her virtuosity as a singer and dancer. Currently, she is a member of the awe-inspiring celtic fusion band Quagmyre and the thrilling new dance show, The StepCrew.

Kevin Burke-Irish Fiddle- plays for Bothy Band, Patrick Street and Celtic Fiddle Festival, he was a 2002 winner of a National Heritage Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Grey Larsen-Irish Whistle/Flute- is well-known as one of the world's foremost players and exponents of the Irish flute. To many musicians and music lovers, his recordings are classics.

Ged Foley-guitar-The Battlefield Band, Jez Lowe, The House Band, Patrick Street, Celtic Fiddle Festival and more. Ged has also turned his considerable talents to record production, with excellent results

John Carty-banjo-Patrick Street

Michael Vignoles- Bodhran- is also known internationally as an instrument maker. For more than 20 years, he has made bodhrans and uilleann pipes from his Galway City shop. He sold a bodhran cheaply to my dad for all his work.

Jim Keenan-Irish set dancing- native of County Armagh, Ireland, teaches country set dancing in both the US and Europe. Through his research and teaching he has helped revive traditional sets as well as receiving commissions for original choreography.

Raghn Crow-Irish Language- was the founding president of the Gaelic League of Central Ohio and is well-known in the United States and Ireland as an author and teacher of the Irish language. Although Raghn calls Irish “an ancient language in a modern time,” he insists that once students know the “code,” they can apply those rules to the language and progress quickly in their proficiency. I took classes from him.

Dan Stacey-irish fiddle- from Stratford, Ontario, was a winner of many prizes for both fiddle and dance from a young age he is a former member of Seven Nations and is currently appearing with the Ottawa Valley step dance troupe, the Stepcrew.

If you want to see a great show; Quagmyre or Step Crew would be a great idea. How did you like them? Are you talking about CCIF or a different festival Dublin Irish Fest maybe?

She is wonderful and was a dancer with the Donny Golden School of Irish Dance on Long Island -- I was there 10 years ago and she would assist Donny in instructing some of our classes.
