Let me set the stage for you: The filming took place at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Ohio City, a neighborhood outside of Cleveland, Ohio. The church was built in the early 1800s and was actually once part of the Underground Railroad. Basically, you should know that it’s a beautiful old building rich in history.
St. John’s is being rehabbed at the moment and unfortunately for us it does not currently have central heating. So we came to the shoot on Saturday prepared with space heaters to combat the chill. The space heaters blew out the majority of the outlets in area where we were filming the minute they were plugged into the wall – oops! So while Scott was busy dancing for nearly 8 hours (this kept him nice and toasty), the crew was bundled up in winter coats and hats. It was seriously cold – it’s November in Ohio after all, people!
Anyway, let’s get back to Scott and the dancing. Below are some photos of Scott and our crew throughout the day of the shoot. We can’t wait to share this new workshop with all soon. It’s going to be awesome! Until then, take a look at what it was like behind the scenes.
